I'm Huw and I'm new here. I have a 2010 3 185 sport and I'm about to get a 6mps as well.

I'm not new to high performance cars and modding. Have wasted far too much money with some serious modifying of cars in the past, things such as a mitsubishi evo vi that I bought standard and rebuilt the engine into a stroke 2.3 with a very good smooth turbo and ecu making 500 ft/lb of torque and 490bhp, a nissan with a 2.2 stroked, engine and less modified cars like skylines and supra twin turbos.

Then I got married! So they all went and we tried to go sensible... We sort of thought a 185bhp Mazda 3 might keep us happy but it's just not the same as a petrol turbo.

Luckily for me my wife is a bit of a petrol head too so we've decided a nice 6 mps with its understated looks will suit the bill for our wanting of some grunt again. Plus its already a 2.3 so I wouldn't need to build a totally different engine either!

So I'm just going into my local garage that has a nice black one on a 06 plate tomorrow to have a chat. Main problem is i've never driven one and its not in the local branch for me to test drive it, intact its a good few hundred miles away. Hopefully they can bring it down for me.

Oh and in south wales not that far from Cardiff.

Welcome, hope you get one sorted. Some people have travelled quite big distances for a goodun. If you do spot one, it might be an idea to see if someone on the Forum is close and is prepared to give one a look over.

Unfortunately I went to garage this morning, they rang the dealer where it was and they've decided to send it to auction because the rear suspension has collapsed :( Totally gutted, looked a nice one in the pics and I had the money ready to go!

Back to the drawing board :(

I bet it's not 5k like the one that was in the dealers though! I'm seriously gutted but I'll definitely go look at for sale thread

True but it doesnt have f d suspension either ,and i would put money on that you will find it hard to get a better one.
