Hi people in UK what's the best fuel to run the mps3 on.will regular unleaded do.does it make a difference.what in .thanks

It's wise to use the minimum rated octane fuel as mentioned in the owners handbook.... This is 98ron. Using a lesser quality fuel with a lower octane rating may lead to instances of detonation and will definitely lead to a loss in overall power.

The idea of using a higher octane fuel is that it makes it more resistant to detonation and burns in a more controlled manner compared to the supermarket 95ron stuff that just isn't upto the job in comparison.

The best fuels, as proven from the MPS's I've tuned, is Momentum or VPower.

Thanks for the reply.ok sounds good.been using reg for 3 full tanks now as only got the car.but will use super.i see Costco now do 99 super and cheap.any experience of that.thanks

You may have heard it before but it is important not to "labour" an MPS engine (eg high gear and wide throttle opening) especially if you are using 95 octane fuel.

Costco 99 is defo fine to use also, anything 98ron or above is good to go :thumbs:
