Hi,

Newbie 6 MPS Owner in Leicester. Used to own to a guy from Stockport on here. Has a not so great number plate ending in PDO !

Hasn't been used much by last owner who hasn't given her much love which I plan to change. Gave her oil and filter change today as not entirely sure when was last changed. VVT and chain was replaced by Dave Hastie a few years ago so thats good. Turbo seems fine.

A few issues to sort out including bonnet paint respray and a new 02 sensor. Unsure if aircon working. I might lower her on to some eibachs and replace the shocks with billies. Long term keeper I hope, will post some pics post polish. Stereo seems a bit pants too, might upgrade the speakers. Will probably tint the rear windows too.

Mods installed already include stainless steel backbox, Dreadnaught / Juggernaught, COB SRI and TIP, JBR RMM, Whitelines RARB, JTune Map, Internal LEDS, Beesting aerial, debaged grill which I'm not that fond of. She vibrates a bit low revs wondering if thats the JBR RMM.

Completely different beast to the Accord I just sold.

Pulls like a train and my 3 year old son loves it as do I !

So hello, anyone else in Leicester ?

Welcome to the club.

Some decent mods on that car :-)

The RMM will definitely cause some increased vibrations on idle but the severity depends on how stiff a durometer it is. If I recall correctly, mine is 70 which isn't too bad.

Regarding the springs, I didn't find the Eibach's made a massive difference in their own right although this may be different if you're going to upgrade the shocks as well. I put the Eibach's on the standard shocks and it made the car sit a lot nicer but in terms of handling there was no noticeable improvement. I've just put H&R's on my current car and prefer them (still standard shocks). They are slightly lower than the Eibach's and I felt they were stiffer immediately. Personal preference though.
