Hi all... I bought my MK1 a few weeks ago and loving it... its been a few years since I've had a turbo'd Mazda (last was a 1998 RX7 RS-R ltd edition)- a little less tame than the MPS.

Here's some pics of the new car... fitted HKS intake and BOV last weekend already.. few extra bits happening this weekend hopefully, tints, clean and paint calipers, smoked side repeators, plasti-dipping from grill, possibly debadging the rear in two minds at the moment about that.

Trying not to rush in to too many mods, otherwise I'll get bored and sell it too quickly.

Any other locals around Romford/Basildon?

Thanks everyone..

I did some more tinkering at the weekend.. paint the front calliper's red (not to everyone's taste I know), smoked side indicators, windows tinted all round... also snapped the top of the stud that holds the intercooler cover down GRRRR! so gorilla glue holds it for now lol.

Any pics of the calipers in red? Thinking about doing the same! Also, if you're debadging the rear I believe the 'Mazda3' badge has pins in to the boot lid so if you take this off you'll have holes.

Looking Really smart that!

Black and Red theme FTW!
Red callipers always look good on a red car.
