Hi all!
Looking at joining the MKI MPS 3 gang asap.
A few details about myself first.
My names Ian, I'm 49 years young (hope I'm not too "old", as my Son said I should be looking at a Rover 75)!, I work for the Canal & River Trust (formerly British Waterways) as a Length Inspector and I currently drive a MG ZS 180. Been with the Triumph (Dolly Sprint x2), Austin Rover, MG Rover brand for an absolute age now, with a smattering of Williams Clio, Cossie Sapphire, Sierra XR4i thrown in for good measure.
But it's time to say good bye to the ZS. It's never let me down, and has incredible handling too, but a change is coming.
So, here I am, actively looking for a Mazda 3 MPS Aero. Already know the ins and outs of the cars, as my Son works for Mazda (Chris Neal Sports Cars, Northwich. Toyota, Mazda, Lotus etc, dealers), so discount parts and mechanical work sorted!
Anyway lads and lasses, I'll keep ya all up to date with my search. Oh, only fancy a red 'un or a black 'un (although Cosmic Blue is growing on me)! with cruise control. Know of any relatively local to Cheshire? Although for the right car, I'll travel.
Cheers!

Welcome along. Apart from the Clio, you have been solidly British. I hope an MPS doesn`t come as a culture shock.
Definitely worth researching a bit on this forum about the MPS. Like any car it does have its "peculiarities" which are worth knowing before looking.

Thanks for the welcome.
Foxy, I'll head your advice and do my homework. Dealing with daily MG Rover ailments will hopefully stand me in good stead for any, potential, problems I may encounter with a 3 MPS.
Waiting on N&S Performance in Coventry to prep two Aero's for next weekend, then I'll go have a nosey.
Have tried to locate some feedback/comments on N&S, but can't find owt. So I'll see for myself come the weekend.
Once again, thanks for the welcome.

Welcome to the community, I had my share of Rover/MG's in the past! Last being a mk2 ZS with Xpower kit but the 1600 lump, gorgeous car, was known on the MG-Rover car club from southcoast

Anyways, Ive read one or two stories about N&S, do a search on here as I was looking to enquire to them before buying mine, apparently two chaps run it and one is better than the other to speak to but cant remember names...

Did you get one from n&s? Was looking at their stock myself.

Whereabouts in Cheshire are you? I'm just over in Stockport. I only see one of these about, black with black wheels.

By the way, loving the job title!
