Hello all,

My Name is Niek, and i'm from the Netherlands.
I'm 27 years old, and i have just bought myself a 2007 Mazda 3 MPS.
Since we don't have many MPS'es in Holland (only 60 if i'm correct) we don't have many active
clubs overhere.

So, this is why i went overseas, and checked out your Club. I looks very nice, and i hope i can learn some tips & tricks overhere.

Ok, enough with the talking. :wwp:

(I'm sorry if my English isn't as good as it should be. Not very used to typing in English)

I'm looking forward to receive him next Friday!

Bit of advice, when ordering parts (if you ever do) stay AWAY from totalMPS

Hi and :welcome: along to :mpsoc:

Your English is better than mine!

How much is your import tax? Isn't it quite a lot over there?

Welcome. I spent three years working in Amsterdam and the quality of the Dutch's english surpasses a lot of what's spoken here. Do not worry [WINKING FACE].

Thank you alle for the warm welcome.
Still 1 day to go, before i can drive my MPS :horns:

One last night without sleap i gues.  ;-)

@: Gouldy: Yes, the Import tax is pretty high.
For example, my father went to testdrive a Volvo V60 Polestar. A car wich is 55000 euro's according to Volvo.
If you want a car like that overhere, it will cost you about 100.000 euro's. So the price almost doubles overhere, all due to taxes.

So, we can state that Holland is a very expensive country when it comes to buying cars. This is why allot of People are now importing cars from Germany or the UK. When you buy a car wich is a few years old, and Import it, it's mostly cheaper then buying one overhere. Also if the car you buy here is a secondhand car.
