had a look on the internet for some uk tuners. Litchfield stood out as my friend has had his GTR worked on a few times there. Anybody had any Mazda experience with them?? stage 1 map takes it to around a claimed 295bhp.....

They're great with the gtr, but NOT a Mps.
Versatile or Cobb access port should be the only way considered to map the MPS safely
you want a HPFP internals upgrade before a remap

Any recommendations on the pump?? Best to go with what is tried and tested. I was looking at the Cobb too. I believe they do a v3 and internals as a package??

Nate from new age does autotech internals and Cobb v3 and I believe a rear engine mount for a deal buying from the states normally works out the cheapest option.. Most have autotech internals but there are others out there (corksport etc etc)
Regards to the tune its entirely up to you who you use for it a lot of big names in the states for tuning these or a lot of people on the forum use Justin over here j believe his done well over 100 mps now

I do like the look of the Cobb though. All the little extras you can use it for. Etc.

When Kenny says Versatile he means Versatune :P That or a COBB Accessport and then Justin to remap is the best / easier and probably cheapest combination you'll get for the MPS. Of course HPFP internals first like above :)

Hi all, thanks for the welcomes. Another question........ Is it better to upgrade the current recirc valve or upgrade to a 50/50 atmospheric?? If so, do any of you gents know of one that doesn't make too much of a noise..?!? Strange question but in my house apparently it's illegal to be 32 and want to drive a car that makes all sorts of "boy racer noises". My wife's words, not mine...!!!

Give her a slap with a wet fish.
Upgrading the recirc daily want do anything till you start upping the boost, the OEM one is plenty good enough.
A forge v2 would be ideal for you though, gives a wee bit of noise but nothing major, but won't really hear that until you change your intake. ££££££ spending begins haha

Got to be very discrete with how I go about things. Luckily a close friend is the mechanic at Mazda main dealer...... Cheap labour to do bits and pieces. Just built himself a 435hp Evo 6 from shell so I'd imagine he's got the qualifications.

As Sir-SpamFace says you won't really much of the recirc until you upgrade your intake.

It's a really easy job to do though and a good one to build your experience and confidence with.

As stated by spam flaps if you want noise then the first best mod is a decent intake.

A HTP intake and then a Forge V2 recirc will give you lots of whooshy dearth vader noises and turbo sneezes through the intake

Hi gents, So I'm ready to begin some light mods..... was thinking of the rear engine mount and possibly rear sway bar to keep the ass in check a bit better. Any advice on where is best to buy???
