Just a quick hello to everyone don't own an mps yet But I'm looking at getting a 3mps and thought I'd Get a bit of know how on them first and see what the "Scene" is like look forward to getting to know you all

Hey man, only purchased an 3 MPS yesterday and having stopped driving it! Such an amazing car you won't be disappointed when you finally get one. Just a bit of a task trying to find one that isn't a few hours drive.

Cheers Welcome! Ensure VVT is done, check documents for it or make a vid of the car with bonnet lifted and get someone to start it and let it run. Post it on youtube and give us a link Whilst doing that let it idle for 10 mins or so, if it clouds up at the back, the turbo seals have gone Check service history When driving, full lock it and listen out for a groaning sound, could be a diff issue (this is quite minor compared to others) Also listen out for any clunks when going over humps, could be knackered bushes / drop links Also make sure everything is need a clean under the hood, i didnt check this and mine was a mess, the previous owner obv modified it
