Would be cool to hook up with Irish MPS owners to discuss their experience with maintaning their MPS in Ireland, sourcing parts, etc..

Cheers,

Al

Hey, Im in Dublin. Good to meet another MPS owner (mine is the grey debadged 06D MPS6).

Mazda Ireland (dealers) are useless and very expensive as they have no experience of the MPS so dont waste your times. They are only useful for parts which they just order in from Mazda Belgium! I just got a great mechanic of mine to replace the faulty timing chain/VVT and power steering pump/pipes but was very time consuming as the MPS 6 is a dog to work on. Hope you find someone good mate, if you are stuck I can put you in touch with my mechanic as he has MPS experience and he is in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

Cheers,

Al

No worries man. PM if you need his details. I love my MPS6 but its a guzzler.. hopefully its a bit better after the reconditioning and full service! Did you have to replace the time chain/VVT?

Cheers,

Al
