Hello! New Mk2 MPS owner here.. bought one last night. I'm pleased with my buy.. I have to admit I joined the site on Wed Jan 12, 2011 and lurked on and off ever since.. The seller had not had the car for too long, but to be fair to him, it was in decent condition. The previous keeper to him was traced on here :-)- the car is in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=16727&p=266550#p266550Sent him a quick message.. appears the Eibach springs are still on the car, and possibly a short shifter.. The seller I bought the car from was unaware. Car has also had a cat / resonator removed..a tad loud on start up- could do with addressing the noise ( in due course) I'm no stranger to hatches / quickish cars Previous cars: Clio 1.8 16v Clio Williams 3 VX220 Audi TT 1.9CDTI Astra 2010 Seat Leon Cupra stage 2. been a member of many forums associated to the cars above. MPS is currently in standard tune, and feels tame compared to my Cupra, which is to be expected. Plans- nothing major.. I'll settle for 320 bhp, and leave it at that. Will spend some time reading up on pathways to achieve 320bhp.. Finally, I have to admit that I'm impressed with the spec of the car, particularly the interior etc love the ambient blue glow, the stereo plus other standard MK2 3 MPS features. Photo from today:
