Hello all
I've had my mazda 6mps for six months or so now and love it to pieces ,i know its probably already covered somewhere on this site , but I was just hoping for a little bit of general maintenance advice ,
I want to replace air filter , oil filter and oil at the weekend , I'm only replacing standard air filter not upgrading
Any help on which make , I am not really seeking more performance , but want to be sure I'm using quality and the right products
Thanks Kieran

Any panel filter will do from local motor factors, their all much of a muchness tbh, oil wise some of us have just changed to shell helix ultra 5w 40 http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68976-shell ... e-oil.aspx and again for filter anything close to oem spec from motor factors will be fine.

:welcome: to the forum btw

When replacing the air filter, make sure you get one for the 6MPS and no other Mazda variant. You might also consider the K&N version which will last the lifetime of the car. You just need to clean it occasionally. If you intend to go for an intake upgrade at some stage then I would get the standard replacement for now.
