Hello everyone! I'm new here, have been a member for a few months to scope out the car etc. I have put my deposit down on a red 56 plate 6 MPS from a Mazda garage! Whoop!

The car has 46k on the clock and looks pretty mint! Pre purchase they are changing..
- Brake fluid as it doesn't look like it has been done in 2 years
- Front Discs and Pads as they are 95% worn
- Rear window tints as one side has been scratched
- Removing stone chips etc.

The car will come with one years Mazda warranty as it is an approved car. Also get break down cover accident care etc.

I have been driving a Toyota Celica 190 for the last 3 years which I have spent a fair bit on making it nicer, coilovers, stage 2 clutch and cams etc. I'm going to miss the small 3 door coupe feeling, but am excited for the 6!

Always love a new owners forum so will get some pics and a thread up when I have picked her up! If anyone has any suggestions or whatever, please feel free to say!

I have a friend moving in with me and due to the money we will be saving, I have bought a 56 6 MPS and he has just picked up a 2011 3 MPS. Yay!

Alex

Atleast you can drive yours in the coming winter months :D
But come summer you'll be left behind
Unless you start modding :D
:wwp:
What did you pay ?

Yeah that's what I keep saying to him! Though the 6 felt quicker in the test drive. Will have to get them along side each other.

I will be modding I'm sure! ha ha!

It was £5700. I didn't think that was bad with a years full warranty?

Nice car you will love it. Best mod i have found so far in my 1st 6 months is defo the B12's, totaly transformed the car from a big bargh (Had A3 go-kart before) to a proper agile beast.

Brake fluid only needs changing every 2 years, according to Mazda.

Welcome along! I swapped from a Celica 190 to a 6 MPS as well. The 6 is a fair bit quicker standard, and with mods mine is now MUCH quicker than the old Celica, still a great car though.

Hello :welcome: to the forum. Are the 6 mps permanent AWD or is it electronically controlled with ATS and all that stuff?

Can go from 100% from the front to up to 50/50 in any increment depending on what the Ecu tells it.

There was an excellent vid years ago where someone rigged a guage to measure the power going to the rear drive. It is hugely variable and never rests.

I always thought that lazy driving in 1st was all front wheel drive.
