Hi All had mine since December but just found the site, nice to see so many MPS owners out there.

I love the car

a few questions for you all

how long do the standard tyres last Potenzas? just changed a set at 8k

does anyone see any better performance from better grade fuel ie the higher ron grade?

Where is the next meet?

Depends on your hooligan factor and how soft the rubber is. I'd expect the Potenzas to last 6-12K on the front for mixed driving.

You need to run on BP 97RON super minimum, preferably Shell V Power 99RON. If you don't the ignition will be retarded and the fuelling adjusted and you'll loose a chunk of power.

Just make sure you rotate them every 4-6k miles and they're going to be fine. I sold mine after I used them like 12k miles and they were work 1.5mm our of 8.

Nah. Must be driving too gently. Should be 4mm in 5000 miles.

what about the rear tires? You should really rotate them, usually the rear tires wear less than the front tires.

If you do that you end up changing all 4 tyres at the same time rather than in pairs.
