hello there the time has come to sell my beloved mk1 mx5 (for family reasons) and now I have to get a 4 door car. I've been looking at the Mazda 6 mps's for a long time now and I was wondering what experiances you guys have had and what to look out for when buying one. I'm looking to get one in the next month so as much help as possible would be brilliant! Also this sat nav that you can get I can't seem to find any in my price range that has one, are they anygood (enough to spend out on one) or are they just crap ? I can't really think of any other questions yet but I'm sure that I will think of some to ask later on cheers guys!

Hi & to Ideally you want a 6 that's had the chain and the Vvt replaced that way you won't have to open your wallet and get a fright. As Kenny said have a good read about as there's lots of really good info that'll help you out

Hi & I would go as far as to say non sat-nav is preferable, as you can then use the dash tray for something more useful than a rubbish out-dated system that will take great delight in sending you in circles! Yes.....mine has sat-nav! As said, timing chain/VVT replacement is a must.

That big empty bar at the top of the page, just under the logo, you type in it, then click search (Ignore me I'm just being silly) Seriously though, the satnav really is pants, best with a cheap tom-tom instead.

greetings to everyone on here thanks for the welcome messages! looks like il be looking at a 6 MPS at the end of this week that looks to be in good enough condition but I will be asking about the VVT/timing chain it's it that if there is a rattling sound on the left of the engine is it the VVT or timing chain that is broken? and this car doesn't have a Satnav! so lets see if I like it also looking though the show your rides off section! some of the cars in there look great! hopefully il get mine to look like them!

Welcome and get a mps3 instead. Does 90 mpg and women fall at your feet at traffic lights and has been proven to make you look younger two. Good luck.
