Hiya all, I bought my first MPS yesterday and I'm over the moon. She is a black 07 Mazda 6 MPS and she is standard apart from a remap by the last owner. I'm new to Mazdas, but not to fast cars as I love speed! (dont we all!) Previous fast road cars include a Supra, Lancer Evo, and 3 Skylines :-) Not looking to do much to her at the moment, just want to get to know the car abit and get to some meets and enjoy the MPS experience. Hope to meet some of you soon! Jam

hello and mate. Why go from faster cars o the MPS then, just a change? Who mapped your 6?

Hey guys, Thanks for the warm welcome! :-) Yes i love the black to, definitely the best color imo :-) I think its Mica Black? or did i just make that up?? Have edited the faster comment from my original post, I think it read wrong hahaha, I didn't actually mean to say the others were faster than the MPS, because they definitely were not, i just named a few of my sportier cars, on the basis that i omitted to mention the slow ones too! hahaha Why the change? well I love 90s jap muscle cars to the bone, but i felt it was time to upgrade to something more modern and fresh, something exclusive and more of a "sleeper"... and the MPS6 I think I got the full package and I'm very very happy. Not sure who mapped it yet, but i will find out for sure when I get the rest of the paperwork for the car, but apparently the RR printout puts it at about 315hp, and for the moment I'm gonna guess thats this reading is at the flywheel How hard is it to get these cars up to the 350hp mark? Oh and will get some pics of the others up later tongiht

Must of had a fair bit other than the map to get it to that then.
You need to fin out exactly what's on already (especially hpfp internals) as without, you'll likely come to some problems.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to have a good look around her this weekend to see if I can find anything obvious, but again thanks for the heads up, tbh I might even get a second option on another RR to see if she does the same numbers.
