Nice wheels to :D

As for what you want to do, thats up to you, whats your goal and whats your budget?

Cheers all. Good price to well chuffed!! Not sure what to do yet. Springs or coilovers? Is an exhaust mod worth it? Is it worth a re-map?

Springs are the most comon route for the lowering, because its much cheaper, but the correct way to do it is the coil overs imho, though I have springs ha.

A second cat delete is a nice cheap mod and gives it a much nicer tone, depends what you want.

As fo a map, hell yeah, go for either versatune or cobb access port and then find and etuner that you wish, or ask nicely and some members can map it for you

Worth a read:
http://forum.mazda6club.com/mazdaspeed6 ... wners.html

H&R'S or Eibach springs are your cheapest option - not many people in here get coilovers, springs alone are very popular.

Second cat delete for around £100 is a good start on your exhaust system :)

I recommend rear engine mount upgrade as one of your first mods - well worth it.

There are quite a few of us in the NW to give you a hand

mps6dave is excellent with the spanners up in cumbria, if your not confident changing parts. And you can map with Cobb or Versatune.

Bit of a different car to a WRX/sti whatever, a bit more refined, still, you can eat them if you spend the money, until you hit the b -roads...
