Thought I drop in to say a quick hello as I've been lurking for a few months now!!

Picked up my 2006 MPS6 on Saturday from near Arbroath and really enjoyed the drive back to Skye.

I've had many cars ranging from a 400bhp Nissan Stagea to highly modified MX5s so the MPS is a nice compromise between power and handling :)

Car is totally standard but have a few things to do such as new tyres, VVT and timing chain, maybe new suspension and then alignment! Think my wallet is going to take a big hit in the next few months!!

Hello and :welcome: aboard

Nice plans - same as me, looking at 4 new tyres, bilstein B8's and I want to get VVT upgraded as a precautionary thing... However road tax letter came today

I've just ordered 4 x Goodyear F1 assymetricnto replace the Kumhos. One of the Kumhos has 3 bulges where previous owner hit a pothole or 2 :(

Next may be suspension as I'm getting a slight juddering noise on the OSF. Not sure whether it's the shock/topmount or a bush. Was thinking Bilsteins as well :)

VVT and chain is also a precaution as the car only has 45k miles with no rattles but I prefer peace of mind!

I waited a while for a 2006 on the lower tax bracket as this is a 2nd car for a bit of fun!
