Hello there I am new to the forum how is everyone? I just bought an 09 reg white mps and I am struggling to find any good websites for upgrades? I am not looking into remapping at the moment but what do youz think are essential upgrades to start off with? I will be looking into changing the wheels I am sure the stud pattern is 114.3? Cheers mark

Welcome mate, wrong question to start off with mate, this place will cost you a fortune lol decent place to start would be total mps website, or FR&R have some stuff. Sometimes importing from the states isn't much more expensive from places direct like SURE motorsports or corksport, most people will say if for more power go for the intake and turbo inlet pipe combo from either corksport or sure then get a second decat done, should see anywhere between 270-290 with that

I am from bishopton near glasgow mate and thanks for the welcomes . It is standard at the moment besides the wheels have been sprayed anthrocide grey. What do you mean by second decat? Is it not better to have both of them taken out? I was looking on ebay and found a few exhausts like an obx manifold and a borla exhaust system but I am not sure if they would be good quality. If I got new alloy wheels without lowering the car I really like rota grids what width of wheel and size of tyres would I need to avoid the tyres rubbing? I will have a wee look around corksport and sure for parts.

I bought most of my mods from the states and imported myself - saves money if you are willing to wait a couple weeks more Lots of sites in the states - search mazdaspeed 3 and you'll find them

My goals are just to get it to look unique at the moment and to get it breathing that bit better. I will be looking at a new exhaust first of all what do you mean just by removing the second cat? Is it not better to remove both?

What valve did you order? Our car requires a recirculating valve not a dump valve as the ecu relies in its readings from the sensor.
For sure parts see totalmps as they are uk's distributor for sure.
Leave getting a panel filter and get a short ram intake and a turbo inlet pipe (SRI & TIP) as the stock pipe work is very restrictive.

You can get alot of inspiration from google images - search white mazdaspeed or the like and you will find some very nice motors

Ah that's ok then, don't use full dump. Some people have had pops and bangs when running 50/50, most run full recirc.

Not sure on the wheels but I like them You can fit an S204 Sti from lip... Few guys in the states have them on their 3's, and a few guys have them on their 6's - including me These can be bought from eBay.com - search S204 Sti lip and you'll find loads

Just imagine how much better the mk1 would have sold if it looked like that in 2007.
