Just thought i'd introduce myself since I'm new to the forum :)

I've been quite a fan of the MPS for sometime, I like the idea that not many people know quite what it is and see it as just another Mazda.

I've had a look round 2 different 3 mk2's, with the only limiting factor being my age (19) which insurance companies feel the need to abuse me about :smash:

Maybe next year hey, in the mean time I'll have to make do with sitting jealously behind a screen admiring some of the motoring examples on this forum!

:welcome: to the forum. with the mps's being quite rare and not many knowing about them it does keep the insurance down, i noticed it from owning an ST. The MPS was half the cost

I tried all the usual suspects, admiral etc. LV came out cheapest with my union discount.

But at 3 grand, its not something I was willing to pay :L

And I do like the mk1, but that bonnet scoop on the mk2 ;)

I do like the seats more in the mk1, they were so supportive compared to the mk2. But the mk2 does look better ;)

Wow, 19 and looking at an MPS! Scary! I thought I was lucky having a Clio 197 at 21, but that's going to the next level. What are you driving now? Maybe something a little less powerful will get you a few more years no claims and then the insurance will be more sensible? I had my MPS aged 22.

I know the age is scary, to be honest I think I'll do best waiting til I'm 20. Cheaper insurance, another year no claims.
