Hiya how you all doing, picked up my red 6 mps on friday, very impressed with the car, i was actually looking around at lots of faster large cars and found the mps by total luck. anyway im starting to personalize mine, already had wheels redone in black looks amazing and tinted tommorow, ive been checking through the forum for info on inductions and filter. am i right in thinking the replacement panel filter offers not much in way of performace and also sound, is the k&n induction around 90 pound a good choice, i cant stretch the 250+ for the forced number. and recirculation valves over dump vavles? any info would be great from people who actually no about it from experience rather than salesman. cheers for all the help in advance

cheers for all the quick replys, its the first ive read about the turbo inlet pipe, this is for reducing intake heat and smoother airflow, im not too clued up with doing all the work myself but if its do-able then its on my shopping list, want to get a half decent base before i go for the re-map, i noticed you said fr&r arent recommended, thats actually the company i was reading about, as its the ecutek(sure thats the chip) i have been reading about.

Hi and to the forum. A turbo inlet pipe (TIP) connect from the turbo to the main intake piping. If you have a look at your one at the moment you will see why it is so restrictive..... it is easy enough to change out. Regarding the remap, go to somewhere like BBR, Total MPS, RS Tuning or go down the Versatune route (see the traders sections for details of each)
