I enquired with Litchfield about 18 months ago but was put off by the price (turns out they're about the same as BBR or Total actually) and the fact that nobody on here had had a Mk2 done by them.

There was a chap from Bristol who had a Mk1 done by them and resulted in stuttering which they just turned their back on. There's a thread on here somewhere.

You seem OK with your map though. I'd look at going for a high flow air filter and silicone TIP (Corksport/JBR/Sure) as long as you don't mind the boy racerish 'suck, whoooosh' soundtrack :)

Ye car seems fine,, had it done 3rd week of december and okay so far. (touches the oak door). Ye price was same as bbr. But was a lot closer for me. Noise i can deal with if it makes it go faster. Think that might be next after springs though. Gona speak to iain at litchfield when im up there while thebsprings are done se what he says bout induction and exhaust need to see if my fuel pump inards need changing too.

The only mod I had when I went to BBR for a stage 1 was a Corksport SRI & TIP (claimed 20-25 bhp increase) but needed uprated fuel pump internals after the map. This could well be the problem the Bristol chap had at Litchfield ?

Neil McKay @ BBR took it for a test run after the map and showed me the logs with dropping fuel pressure, so fitted high flow internals and retested - all OK :) Car hasn't missed a beat in the 10 months since being mapped.

I've had the Corksport turbo back exhaust fitted recently and the turbo response is noticeably quicker (and bloomin loud at the tailpipes :) ), so I'm keen to see what it produces at the Powerstation meet in March.
