Keep looking you can get a good price if you are willing to shop around and travel to get one. I travelled to Norfolk from Newcastle.
I also thought about getting a cheaper tax bracket one but thought whats an extra £200/year! I think this is the car i looked at back in December, 1 owner from new, the full kit, but the price was about 10K orginally, he must have dropped the price alot. from memory was it grey, or have i got the wrong car? Its black but he said he had it on sale last year but no takers and wanted a quick sale so he put it on for trade in value. It has a few marks on it, just had it into the Mazda garage for an MOT and they have replaced the front shock as it was leaking, regassed the air con (stopped working again, so its going back) and replaced 1 alloy (going to argue about the rest) all under waranty. Apart from that appears okay.

You have to qualify under the terms of the warranty and the VIN. Completely different to a recall which are safety related and last the life of the car. Viz. Toyota sagas.

Thanks again for the welcome, The tax does put me off a little for a post 06 car @ £445, as its likely to rocket in coming years. Didnt realise there was a difference between the early and later 6 MPS as someone mentioned. Ill have to look into that further. Theres a few up for sale at reasonable prices now, and the mrs fancies a red one, so we'll have to do more searching. Heres the Teg for the lad that asked and a couple with the old mans MPS ;) Daz

Differential VED rates depending on first registration date affects a lot of cars. Any car post April 2001, I think, but before 23/3/06 with more than 225 CO2's is in Band K - £245, for the moment.
