Here's a better picture, looks standard to me, also are the coils standard blue?

Cheers

Brilliant cheers for that! Looks likely that it's only the intake that's been done so far!

Yeah the springs are eibach. They come standard on an aero.
Ps the offer was for anyone in the area regarding the mps. As much as I've moved away from the mps I still attend meets and repairs/mods etc.

After reading a bit on this forum over the last few days, my car might not be as "perfect" as i thought when buying! Wish i had read more on this forum when buying.....May be nothing but car seems to take a wee bit to turnover on start up, and feels like its gonna stall when idling sometimes, also reading more on the forums im beginning to worry about the VVT problem as im not sure on how loud the engines sounds normally and what mines sounds like.

With the things youve listed above i would buy a new battery, new plugs and clean your maf sensor to start and see how it is from their, dont get paranoid yet as youve only just bought it lol...

:help: Just had the car at the local garage, simply to check out the timing chain, which is making a slight click when going round, he advised me to do an oil change on it to see if it helps as I've no idea when it was last done! A good few miles ago I'm guessing! Anyone got any thoughts? Or will I just go and cry to the wife that i need £1000 to put the car right

Yeah it sounds like you have a little bit of chain slap their, its not the worst so just get it on the list of things to do, and its always best to give your car a service as soon as youve bought it, i do anyways.

Why dont you jump in on the edge group buy whilst you have chance, good bit of saving to be had and then get a good garage that you know of to fit it, you should get it all in for about £600, im sure i remember DaveEdin's brother did his and hes around your way

Would love to but think I'm gonna have to wait and either order it myself or hope there's a group buy again soon haha to much already paid out and to much still to pay out over this month! Luckily the car doesn't get used much. That's good news to hear, hopefully I'll find him on this forum and twist his arm into doing mine
