hehe....if you dont mind sir....a collect and deliver wouldn't be bad...might end up fighting for the keys before you even get chance to stop though!!

And fuel gauge? probably still not as bad as my daft Lex im getting 18mpg with, and driving as fast as Stephen Hawkings moves!! ;-) Least in the 6 I can grin while I cry watching the fuel disappear!!

I find the 6MPS quite economical on motorway journeys, providing I don't hammer it. Cut and thrust driving is another matter.

Gearing on the 6MPS is higher than a Scooby because of the low down torque. Helps economy on long runs.

Yeah about 32 mpg. Urban stuff, 22 mpg. However, if you hammer it ......

Don't suppose you checked the mpg. To excited I would guess. What does the Mrs think?

Hehehe- she loves it and didnt even care about MPG so even better!! Well, got from Cardiff to Dunbartonshire (about 430 miles or so) in a tank no probs....cruise control on most of the way until I hit speedcamera-free zone!! ahem....I mean I didnt need cruise ;-)

430 miles on a tank is brilliant, even if you were taking it easy-ish. Wait till you try out the superb traction on the 6MPS, especially in the winter. Makes you smile when you see all those Mercs spinning their back wheels going nowhere. I live up a hill and last winter there was a Merc Coupe which got stuck on compacted snow. I pulled up behind her, got out and pushed her down a level side road. Got back to the 6MPS and just moved off up the hill with very slight slip. You can feel the traction system working out the best way forward in the conditions.

yeh, it wasnt bad at all. I know, went from Impreza to IS200 (which was horrendous in the snow) so am looking forward to some rally conditions end of this year hahaha!! Having said this...my tyres are made by Carlosfandango, so a bit edgy of pushing the MPS to its very limit just yet ;-)
