Welcome to the forum mate! Until you've got hpfp internals mate I wouldn't be putting a decat pipe on. If your car is actually running 307 bhp then without internals your running the risk of damaging your engine. Ask anyone with a mk2 they'll all tell you the same thing! Upgrade internals when remapping your car.

You really need to start reading threads on here!

Can you post a log as spam asked? There's lots of guys on here that'll tell you if your map is safe or not. It's in your best interests for someone to have a look at it as no one wants to see zzb

Yeah, would be good to meet up with him one day and see all the mods, and see where he gets stuff done. Is he in Aberdeen, Elgin area?

Cheers for all the advice, just going to read up all the info and take it one step at a time. See what's the best options for me. There is a place an hour away in Elgin where iv had custom exhaust and manifold made and never been disappointed, so might pop back in there.

Welcome mate :)

This forum is definitely a great source of info and the guys on here have a wealth of knowledge.

Before considering any performance mods, I have read through pretty much every thread on the showroom section, the mechanical and the electrical, ECU section so I'm aware of the dos and don'ts. I don't want to go blowing my turbo, wrecking any rods, blowing seals or messing with the mapping. So as much as 307bhp may sound attractive, you're best making sure it's a safe 307bhp. Good luck buddy and hope your MPS gives you smiles :)
