Welcome.
Ross has it right. Dealers fitted the springs and mirrors to some non aeros. It only became standard fitment from 2008. To get an aero before then you had tick the option. Yours wernt fitted as an option. They where fitted as extra after registration. Not that it matter.

Took my 3 in to a main Mazda dealer and paid for a full health check (more on that In a different thread) but they have confirmed that the mirrors and springs where fitted by them and are standard so i am happy with that
