 I also thought about buying a warranty but in the end had it serviced and checked on the rollers by my indie garage to make sure everything was running ok. £380 could easily go towards VersaTuner

Where is a good place to get it remapped then?
Looking at the sponsors section it seems jamsport are the nearest company to me (colchester).
Or is there specific maps that benefit the mps more?
First and foremost, the car is having a major service completed. Its not been serviced for 14k and the oil was black - hense the good price.
Last service was at mazda for 55k and its now on 69k
Thats not to say the owner hasnt changed the oil. But theres no evidence.

Could possibly done themselves will never know.
I personally have never used a main dealer for a service. Either done it myself or got mates garage to do it. A lot cheaper! Plus know someone who used to work at Mazda and Peugeot. And wouldn't believe what some of the mechanics claimed they did on a car and didn't!

I was planning on just using a local garage thats vat registered to cover the warranty.
But after reading into third party warranty, it seems they are not worth the paper they are wrote on and have many get out clauses.
So seeing as im a mechanic myself (army), im just going to buy the parts and do it myself.
