I'd say an MPS is not the car for you, they're all go and no show. They are quiet as standard, but go like stink. If the 323 is quick enough for you, i'd suggest you perhaps look at NA 6 cylinder motors

I agree - even though they are meant to have engineered in a 'sporty' exhaust note it's not something that you listen to and it makes you grin (without mods as described). I've read your post and thought to myself "great minds think alike" as I too have switched from a V5 Toledo to a 6 MPS.
I totally agree, the V5 had a nice note but the standard MPS sounds good too, it just doesn't shout.
