Thanks for all the replies appreciated I ordered a dump valve that doesn't have a name but it has 3 settings-full recirc,50-50 and full bov Is it the ones off ebay? They are a copy of Turbosmart items. Im sure there was someone on here who bought one and had problems with it. Couldnt adjust spring tension or something like that.

Welcome to the forum!
Can I start off by pointing out something in a previous post. The OBX Manifold on eBay is for a twin scroll turbo so it won't fit stock. I wasn't aware also that Borla made a system for the MPS. Must be 3MPS only?

Here is the link for the borla exhaust http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewit ... 3375539952I am sure it is the turbo smart rep so I'll be soon to find out if there's any problems haha! I was looking at corksport exhausts on youtube on the mps and it sounds awesome! What exhausts give the best sound or power gains?

Cat back will give you no power gains. The only gains to be had are with a 2nd decat, and then a downpipe which will replace the first and most restrictive cat. If you go for a downpipe, then a remap is required.
Most go for custom exhausts, as the are generally cheaper than importing a make. Seen the Borla on youtube, but never heard of anyone on here fit one.

Nice! Borla make a good exhaust. For that kind of money though I think you could get a Jetex from BBR here in the UK. You've got import tax to add on top of that price if you buy from the USA!
Or a Total MPS exhaust.

I think I'll just go for a custom exhaust I live near c and c custom exhausts. I took my last car there and never had any problems. I'll ask them to remove the cats and make a bolt on and bolt off section for mot's. Does anybody know where is good for re mapping in scotland? Iv heard a few horror stories about certain companies putting too much bhp into cars and blowing engines :O

In Scotland HQ are the recommended for a remap. I believe Wallace Performance have also mapped a guys 6MPS without issue.
Both are a trader on here. HQ may still have a deal on for a remap. It was dirt cheap like £250 or something.
Have you considered the self tune route like VersaTune or COBB Access port?

Are the self tune easy to install and well tested? What gains are you looking at from the self tunes? I am saving up then hopefully do the exhaust and remap at the same time

Cobb AP and Versatune have off the shelf tunes to suit your mods. They can get gains just as good as a remap, its the same thing at the end of the day.
Dont be fooled by the Hypertech, they are very good.
C&C are great, a fair few folk on here have used them. Where about are you from then?

That's the hypertech out the window haha! Just depends I would rather have a remap on a rolling road just to see the actual power gain accurately. I am from bishopton near paisley mate. What did other people get from c+c? With my last car I just got a cat back and was impressed with their quality

My exhaust a bit too loud - has its benifits but I would suggest asking for a more subtle noise as I get droning while cruising at 70/80 Too quality workmanship and nice guy's Here is my exhaust noise: http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k57 ... 693CED.mp4

With a noise like that I would definetly not be complaining sounds sweet mate! Is that a c+c backbox as well or is that the standard backbox with decat?
