Also, if your adamant you'll be owning a mps then it's very much worth becoming a paid member in here, £20 for the year which gives you acces to more helpful topics, discount on insurance and parts via the traders on here, allows you to sell things on our for sale section etc etc and it also helps the mods with the upkeep of the site (paying the servers etc)

You know you are not on commission don't you mate.

He's been to rehab for his spamming DLM, he's turned a corner so a bit less spamming and a few more helpful posts : eek2 : : eek2 :

Oh , I didn't realise he was a reformed chappie, TBH I thought someone had pinched his phone whilst he was unconscious on beer and posted for him.

The one you linked to is a "facelift" model that you talk about. It seems a great price to be fair, almost too good for a dealer!

Mine is also for sale, a little more money but you can have a look (links in my signature). I have a buyer who seems certain he wants it, but not able to come down untill the weekend. If you are interested, let me know.

Welcome!

Ah you're right, I didn't notice the piano black interior which is what i'm after, thought that was only in the 2009 model. I've upgraded the interior in my Astra to piano black, same as the VXR, and think it looks great.

I had noticed yours actually on Pistonheads, I'd definitely need to sell mine first though to free up the cash. Will keep my eye on it. Possibly got an interested buyer for the Micra coming down this weekend so hopefully they will buy it. I think people are put off because it's a 1.6 Sport SR and they can get the 1.2 Sport which looks similar but has lower insurance and running costs. Not advertised my Astra yet, need to return back to standard and then get it on AutoTrader. I had hoped to part-ex it but as i said i've been given a relatively poor valuation.

I thought that eco cars like the ones you are selling would be easy to sell these days. At least an MPS should be nice and cheap to compensate.

The Micra isn't really an eco car as it's the 1.6 Sport SR. It's pretty rare, hardly any for sale on the internet although there's a glut of 1.2 Sports around which I think a lot of people opt for instead. The Astra on the other hand I'd hope to be able to sell pretty easily private, just been getting poor part-ex valuations on it. Dealers trying to rip me off i suppose.

Yeah can definitely pick up an MPS pretty cheap these days, looking to spend around £9k and can get decent one for that sort of money.

I'll definitely join. I've done the same thing on AstraOwnersNetwork as they also gave some good discounts etc so will be sure to do the same on here. I'm certainly going to buy an MPS, I've wanted one for a while now.
