Buy a turbo smart dual port. Never heard anyone having a problem with one set to 50 50 but the best way is just fit an Sri and bpv and you will get the tish sound.

Dual Port 50/50 will make your car misfire, and you will get some popping when going up the gears casually. Not really advised. I ran it for a while, but generally stuck to full recirc.

not to play devils advocate here, but I ran VTA for almost a year with no problems.... yet.....
I have not gone back to recirc though.
I also ran on normal unleaded for the first year when i was standard...... oops.
Good job this forum exists.

You won't hear anything until you get some form of induction, the airbox just muffles all the noise

I thought I had this car bought. The vendor gave me a price to end the auction which I agreed and I was to collect two days later. He wanted a deposit paid by paypal which I was more than happy to give, and asked for his email address to facilitate the transfer. Then...... Nothing! He just ignored all my correspondance. Obviously you had the deal done with him. In no way is this a criticism of you, but my point is that the vendor was obviously an a******e. He has still never provided a reason why he did not sell the car to me.
Anyway, health to drive, was gutted to miss this one as it seemed like a real clean one. I have since bought a nice black one from a gentleman, who I contacted via this forum. Great car.
P.s.- If you are still in touch with the vendor, please pass on my opinion of him!

Dont bring the hate to me I made an offer and drove straight up with cash, If somone done that to me I would have done exactly the same? The seller was very pleasent actually he has since sent me more paper work about the car which was passed to him a week or so after I bought it so hes done everything I need from him. whats the saying "if you snooze you lose"..... Are you in Ireland by any chance? As he mentioned someone in Ireland who said they wanted the car before me, I just got their first and waved a wedge at him.
