Hi, Some of you have already been very helpful to me in another MPSOC thread, but I thought I should say hi properly here. Representing the West Midlands (not come across anyone else on MPSOC yet) I've been a black 2006 MPS6 owner for 18months and I have to say she still puts a massive grin on my face. Sedate, and unassuming enough to get me to work and back every day, but truly devilish under my heavy foot! I love how sort of rare it is... I've only seen a handful of other 6MPS's in the Mids since I got mine (and that's mainly on the motorways). See plenty of 3MPS's (a blue mk1 in particular I've seen three times in the past month) - I'll try to remember the plate and post up). I'll be careful not to ask any ridiculous questions - promise

The 6MPS can only get rarer because they are long out of production. Time will tell if they disappear with barely a trace or become lusted after by dedicated fans. What do members think? What factors will determine its fate?

Maybe we'll cross paths sometime! I'm not too far from you mate... M6 J6. I've used the Shell garage in Solihull quite a few times, so you could may well have seen me!

What factors will determine its fate? I think they will become lusted after by a different breed once they get a bit older. Like when I bought my Volvo S40 T4, I didn't necessarily want that car deeply, I just wanted the 200bhp turbo saloon for a bit less than 2k at the time and it delivered. Once the MPS gets old enough to get down to between £2000-£4000, a whole new bunch will become involved.
