Hi all, Just picked up my new mk II 3 MPS in black. Only got 300 miles on clock so far but lovin it. I'm from Bolton and and haven't seen another one on the roads round here yet. Anyway thats it really. I'll get a pic or 2 up tomorrow when ive cleaned the car. It's absolutely filthy at the moment due to this damn snow..

Is that a private sale or an ex-demo ? I'm guessing demo. I traded in my Mk1 for a Mk2 demo with only 100mls and 18K asking price...4½K off list I'm coming up on 2000mls now and loved every single one of them. Remember to fill up with V-Power. Few pence more per litre but it's a high compression engine.

Thanks everyone for all the welcomes. Cant wait for the snow to clear. The roads round where I live in Bolton are still pretty bad.
Neil2112.. It was brand new mate. Had about 3 miles on when i got it. Ive actually had it just over a week and even with the weather I've managed to do the 300 miles. I had put tesco 99 in it at beginning of week. Not had any problems with that but the I'll probably be using V power from now on as the shell garage is on my way to work.

Found Tesco 99 (Momentum) to be just as good, but if V Power is more convenient then I would go for that.

Sorry, thought you meant 300mls when you picked it up.
Yeah,Tesco Momentum or V-Power. I've only filled with Momentum once as Tesco forecourts are even rarer than Shell stations round here.Seemed fine to me.
If you join the V-Power club you get 2 points for every litre and can then redeem for air miles or fuel vouchers. It's only something like £3 voucher for every £300 spent at the pump but it's better than the proverbial kick in the gonads.
Don't bother with BP Ultimate (103 RON) unless you've got more money than sense.
