Hello to you all. I have recently just purchased a Mazda 6 mps and must say it is a cracking car. The car is standard with full mazda service history, 2 owners from new!. I would like some advice on the handling. The car feels abit "OO STEADY ON" :panic: now i imagine, all you lovely forum users will throw all sorts of different ideas at me but i am interested in a mid range type of item to replace stock i.e alot better than stock but not as pricey as race car...

Once iv sorted out the handling and made it stiffer with better roll resistance can you guys point me to a nice spoiler to replace stock and some suttle, aggresive looking alloys, splitters and general mods to improve the car. Thanks a million! (if someone could link some topics i could find usefull in terms of tuning, faults or good garages to use in the midlands for the mps i would be grateful. Cheers guys

Handling....

B8's with H&R springs, far better than oem and eibachs but cheaper than a full coilover setup.
Engine bay brace, brace behind the back seats , rear arb (I suggest doing diff mounts while there as will save a lot of labour)
H brace across the underside of the car.

I have some side mounts too that not many have.

All the above make the 6 reasonable at handling and nearly compete with the likes of a STI Impreza

All AWD cars under steer , it's part of their trait, but really push them hard and they'll snap in and over steer.

Just start of with this set up mate, this will give best improvement for less than £700

Thanks pal, i will have a look into this setup as it seems right. Will the springs bring it down alot as i live in a speed bump area? Where can i buy the diff mounts from?

See my sig, apart from coilovers, I've pretty much every single handling mod there is for a 6.

That setup looks amazing! Iv got around £3000 to spend on a good setup or i might spend it on a bike im not sure which one... i would love to build a great car its always been my dream so im tempted. What can 3k get me in terms of a overall handling to power setup? A rough estimate is fine...
