Hi everybody, Well I'm car daft and have been since a kid, went through the stages as you do (mini's, Fords etc) until I discovered Jap, Currently a moderator on Clan Japan and Scottish rep for the GTIROC. I have an Autech GTIR that I use for car shows etc and tbh it never gets out to play when its wet, this is just to keep it clean and rust free (if thats possible) So . . . . I found myself looking for a daily, I had my heart set on an S15 and I was scouring the auction sites in Japan, and the prices are quite strong. If I could have found another GtiR I would have bought one (glutton for punishment) but there's none left. I have met Gav1888 from here at a couple of Clan Japan events, most recently at our rolling road day. Because of the rarity of the MPS I'd hardly ever seen any! and it got me thinking, or at least it was a thought in my mind. Phoned an ad on pistonheads and off I went to Aberdeen, picked up a 2007 cosmic blue in pretty good condition, very well looked after and with just over 70k on it. I'd never had a shot of one so wasn't sure what it would be like. Well I can't get over just how quick these cars are! very impressed with it The car I've bought is a bit strange, the chap I bought it from loved, cherished and pampered the car like it was his long lost love, there are one or two things on the car that appear to be on there before he bought it as he doesn't seem to know what they are I have a 3 position switch under the dash, not sure if its switchable maps or boost (doesn't appear to do anything when moving), it also had an attempt at the MPS EXTREME livery fitted, I spent ages today getting it off - proper ball ache Will be good to see some more MPS's at meets and learn some things about the car.

So basically these are pics from the ad showing the car with the MPS EXTREME vinyl fitted, Someone may recognise the car - hopefully! but its currently on a private plate it has 18" alloys, the roof and the spoiler have also been done in vinyl which I don't mind so much. So the EXTREME vinyl was removed: This is the 3 position switch I was referring to earlier - no idea what it is And a pic from today

MPS Extreme? wtf is that?? They are just mps6 alloys you have fitted. All MPS alloys are 18"s Just trace the wires of the switch. Or just keep switching it at different times and see what happens. Welcome to

Yep , does look like my old one, glad it's still about . That switch is nothing to do with me though. Does it have a starter button where the 12v socket should be? It had black badges all around and the alloys were not scuffed ! Sold it about 4 years ago though so lots could happen in the meantime. (like the rather high speeding tickets I got when it was in the hands of the dealer lol) Car thread here. viewtopic.php?t=3394 but you may need to be a member to see........
