Hello All, I am currently doing some research before looking at buying a 6 MPS. Currently driving a Mitsubishi GTO import running at 407bhp but its getting a bit thirsty for work so think sadly that is going to have to go Looking at trying to find one with the sat nav and optional extras as I do love toys in a car. Test drove the red one that is in Cardiff recently and enjoyed the drive. any one local to South Wales ?? Looked online and it seems they never really made many of the MPS's - http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/ I like a car that is different and you dont see many of although it does mean it can be a bit of a misson trying to find the right one when buying? Hopefully pick up some info and will let you know if I buy anything ! Cheers Geraint

The sat nav is pants, don't bother with that bit. Meet Kane has a 6 in South Wales

Afaik the optional extras were sat nav and rear parking sensors. Satnav is appareNtly cack but I can see rear parking sensors being handy... certainly to people like me that came from much smaller cars.
Took a while to find mine and had to travel from Newcastle upon Tyne to Sheffield for it.... but was definItely worth it.
Welcome to the forum dude

Keep looking at all the usual sites for a car to catch my eye. I think i prefer the darker silver (not sure its proper name) opposed to the light silver.
What sort of MPG do you guys get ! would i be right in thinking its generally above 20mpg??

I tend to get 270 to a tank, which is about 70 quids worth of v power. Last check I was on 22l/100miles
Common checks... Open bonnet and check for vvt/chain issues, rattling from left hand side of engine bay. Check threads here for what youre listening for.
After that leave the car running and do your normal checks Make sure air on is working as it sounds like an expensive fix may as well check other electrics whilst you're there Check arches for rust Make sure all 4 tyres are the same make/tread/size Check alloys for corrosion
After a good 15 mins or so hoof the car, check for smoke, indicates turbo issues on the horizon.
That's all I can think of atm but I'm half cut and typing like a mong lol

Managed to speak to John. He's got someone coming to look at it tonight and then he's on holiday so will be keeping an eye out for a week or so before I can go and view his!!
I am right in thinking there are 2 different colour greys aren't there ?? Its difficult to tell with the pictures sometimes!!
I seem to prefer the darker grey ??
Could someone let me know what the 2 different greys are called please so I can narrow the search
Also what are the yellow fogs about please ?? not every MPS seems to have them ??
Cheers
Geraint
