Hi guys n girls

I have just purchased a 2008 MPS 3 Aero/Non Aero - I'm not sure which version as it has got the Aero mirrors and Eibach springs but not the larger spoiler :help:

I wanted to join a cool community of people who like talking about these great cars and this place looks cool

Anyway, my nick name is Simply, 33 from Bournemouth nice to meet you all :)

Ahhhhh really, that explains why when i check online its just registered as a standard MPS not an Aero. I was concerned that it was an aftermarket modification (as the car was sold to me as standard).

Technically they are extras and you should consider declaring the springs. The mirrors and spring would have been fitted by the dealer. The reason they didnt fit the spoiler is because the standard one you have will leave two visible holes if you go to fit an aero one.

It was probably too much hassle for them to fill these holes.

Welcome to the club

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Thats the thing, i called Mazda and they have no record of an Aerokit being fitted by them (maybe cause it was the springs/ mirrors only) i wonder if i can find out what extras were sold with the car back in 2008? To be honest i was considering changing the springs because the ride is pretty stiff and the roads in Bournemouth arent the smoothest

Welcome along. I wouldnt bother changing the springs, it wont make much difference to the ride over bumps as the eibachs are progressive so will ride the same if not better than standard over humps and bumps but stiffer under higher load like fast conering
