Hello and Please fill your profile out so we know where you are and which mps you have etc, helps others help you at a later date etc. Mod it slightly you say, if you stay here it'll get modded a lot quickly ha. What do you mean by full exhaust, from the turbo back? If this is so, you'll need a remap too. I'd get a stage 2 intake 1st mate, and it just so happens......... viewtopic.php?f=36&t=12853Snap this up!!

37 miles?! Must of been a bad map or had under lying problems?
Truth is, the load on a stock map is quite aggressive, hence why more stock map mps's go zoom zoom boom over a re-mapped mps.
a catback will cost aprox 400-600 depnding on where you go or which brand etc. Will give some nice deeper tone etc but nothing like a turbo back would do, which will give pops and the odd flame.

it was a newly built engine, was just so hacked off with it i got rid at a major loss :( but hopefully mazda be more reliable, i guess i could go cat-back at 1st then later down line go for turbo back iv also been reading about some owners mentioning a recirc valve?? sorry for all the questions,

Surely a bad tune then if the engine was new, engines dont give at 37miles for nothing.
Anyway, 1st mod should be induction kit, then 2nd cat delete and recirc valve. But if your adamant about a bit of grunt out back a 2nd cat delete should be good enough without cat back for now, around £100 mark for one.
Yeah our cars don't have dump valves as such, ours are recirculating valves, why, because the MAF sensor takes into account that the dumped air is going back into the system and injects the correct amount of fuel for that amount of air. If you dump that air instead, it still thinks the air is getting recirculated back in and therefore adds the wrong fuel to air ratio and then you run rich = not a good thing. Make sense?
