Hey, been thinking about getting a new car for a few weeks, and was stuck between the ST and 3MPS Till the weekend when i drove both, and the choice was made on the mazda, purley down to the drive and i didnt want the boringness of being the same as everyone else in their plan ST's.

The only problem i have is that im trying to sell my BMW 3 Series Convertible, and being as the weather is its proving difficult. I keep seeing MPS' up for sale relativley cheap at between £4k just below £6k. would i be wise to buy a car for this sort of amount then continue trying to sell mine, or is this generally the price you are looking at for the MK1 MPS? (they all seem to have between 40-57kmiles on them)

also any advice on where to advertise my car (its on autotrader, pistonheads, gumtree, ebay) and why is it only people up north seem to be selling 3mps'?

I'm not sure on the pricing of them. But as to buying an MPS now and selling the BMW later, bare in mind that you will need to have it taxed and insured due to the new laws. Also when it gets a little closer to summer and it's a good time to sell the car, it won't have any t&t. Might be worth your while keeping the BMW until you sell it, but then thats just my opinion. I've had the trouble of selling a car after buying one

Definitely sell the BMW first. Spring is nearly upon us and demand should rise.
