:welcome: to the forum!

Fitting an XCarLink to a mk2 is a doddle. This thread explains how to drop the glovebox and from there you can reach behind the headunit and plug in the XCarLink.

Depends where you want the iPod to sit... There are other posts in the how to section which should describe removing the centre console trim if you want it in the armrest..
Also, I PMd installation instructions to another member as you need to swap two pins fron the OE plug to the new XCarLink plug. Simple really but if nobody tells you then bluetooth disappears and it's panic city!!

Enjoy the new car

Cool, thanks JameG. I think attempting that with Mr.Madvase could lead to a 'domestic' lol

Chadste - what is the standard option you've got then?

Neil - Ta I'll have a look and probably come along :)

IIRC the mps mk2 all come with the sam features. I don't think there is any added options? My iPhone connects via bluetooth and I can change tracks using steering wheel!

Nice!

I have installed an Xcarlink ipod adpater onto my mk2 MPS and is a doddle to fit!. I've written a more upto date guide on how to do this. No wire stripping or anything required, just 3 tools and about 45mins
