Hi all, new to the group and yes in ownership of a nice MPS 3, had it about 4 months now and boy,, what a tool, never had a performance car b4, and whey hey it goes,, try not to push it all the time only when she needs it, handles great,, but have noticed that when on tickover there's a slight tappety noise and when inside vehicle you can feel like a slight vibration coming from engine dept, are they supposed to run this way or is it me being silly and there's nothing to worry about,, 56plate MK2..but in general she runs great.. brought from Mazda dealership..

These engines are top end noisy. As long as its not VVT chain rattle, it'll be ok.
Vibes may be a stiffer Rear Engin Mount (REM) the previous owner fitted. I feel vibes slightly when sitting at lights and the AC motor kicks in after I swapped to stiffer REM
