Hello everyone I've bought myself a Mazda 3 Mps she's red areo (57) brakes felt abit juddery on test drive thought nothing really of it main thing for me was the timing chain problem and to be honest that was the main thing I was looking out for. So got her home got the pads took my front left wheel on and this is what I seen I've tried doing some research but not joy what I've gathered is that the boot has come off both clips are still on and it has spat libricant everywhere I've jacked it up and grabbed the wheel gave it a wobble front left to right and there seems to me like there is slight play can hear a bit of a clunk it's quite difficult to wobble the wheel but feels like there is some play. Just like some help with where to go from here I like to do work myself of course there's the saving money side but it's more of a hobby. But yeah any help on where to go from here would be great do I need a whole new shaft or is there other methods my local Mazda dealer seem to not be answering and Euro parts are saying they only have the drive shafts for the rear which are unavailable anyway plus as far as I'm aware 3s are fwd so I don't know what's going on there.
