Just bought a mk1 3 mps and love the car to bits! Also first time on an owners club forum. Just got a few niggles that are annoying me. The main one is that every time i turn the engine on the parking sensors go mental! they continuously bleep for about 10 seconds and then its followed by one long bleep for about 2 seconds.

The sensors dont work and the button does nothing. The previous owner said they were working fine ( i saw them work myself) until he took it to a garage (for inspection before selling the car to me). They messed them up apparently but does anyone have any idea as how to fix this? Its annoying af and i havent seen anyone else with this issue. I plan to try and find the control box to reset them but the whole "turn it off and on again" approach seems more like luck and hope than anything else haha. Cheers.
