I have a gen1 3mps aero pack. Need new tyres is it a big deal to change to 225/45s from 215/45s please. 215/45 are a lot more expensive. Can anyone help please?

Yes, they are way cheaper and the choice is huge. Don't forget to tell your insurer. It shouldn't affect your premium.

I would say to them that you want to get that size because it is both suitable and cheaper. Which happens to be true. Insurance companies are mainly focused on mods which increase the value of the car or make it more attractive to thieves/joy riders.
