The rev problem might be something simple, mine was fine when I test drove it, but when it was delivered it was horrible, after reading on here found it was probably due to a flat battery as my windows needed setting to, just had to drive around for a bit. I'd defo buy a COBB good bit of kit and have a diagnostic tool.

And welcome!!

Got my eyes on a Cobb v3 right now :horns:

Good drills! I wasn't too impressed at first with my cobb, thought it was ok but that's it. Now I think they're awesome, as time goes by and I learn more about the car and how to use the COBB.

Welcome along.

If you bought it from a dealer they should not have sold it to you with 2 shot tyres. I think it is illegal. Did it come with an MOT? As already said the tyre matching is critical on these cars. I would only consider mods after I had it running as a stock one should so that may cost you more than you expect.

Why did you go for a 6 rather than a 3, apart from the cheaper road tax?

One of the main reasons I bought it was because it was in the lower tax band.
I bought it from a private trader with cash and a PX .
It has tax and not to next year.

As for why I went for the 6, I've always preferred saloons to hatchbacks and I'm not too keen on the shape of the 3 :D

One thing I forgot to mention is I noticed water in the boot (under the spare) and both sides where the jack is situated and the alarm.
Any ideas where the water could be coming from?
