Not an MPS owner but picked up a 2006 Mazda 3 Sport this week. There are a few similarities so stumbled on here while looking in to something else. It seems to be quite active, has a good knowledge base and I do enjoy a good build thread so seemed to make sense to join. Enjoying the car so far, may tweek things a little but not majorly as it's a daily drive and I cover a few miles on the commute. Will hopefully get a drive on some more interesting roads than the motorway over the weekend to see where the handling and brakes are at and if I want to make any changes. Thanks

It might not be to everyones taste but I like the look of the 3, prefer the MPS as it looks more aggressive but I'm happy with my Sport.
Xcarlink should be delivered today ready to install at the weekend, after that maybe some suspension tweeking but not sure, maybe some new pads too.

Welcome to the forum dude Do you intend to use the Bt and iPod side of things with the x carlink or was it just for an aux in? If the later you can get a cable for a tenner that provides an aux in on Amazon

Primarily iPod connection for the xcarlink, the 3.5mm jack connection covers any other stuff I might want to run through it. It's got the Bose system which is decent so would prefer the sound quality of the iPod.
Thanks for the welcome everyone, I expect I'll do a bit more research over the weekend then may be asking some suspension questions if I can't find something off of the search.
