Hi all, newbie to MPS owners club from Yorkshire. Recently purchased Mazda 3mps 2010 in white and loving it. I have already had wheels powder coated black and callipers done red which looks really well, now its time for some power upgrades which I would be very grateful of some guidance/advice. One of dilemmas is to go for Cobb V3 interface or not as I also intend to upgrade fuel pump, air intake and have 2nd de-cat pipe fitted any advise would be greatly appreciated many thanks-Wayne.

As for intake get the jbr power path stage 2. Best bang for your buck. Oh and welcome!

Many thanks for reply's, had a look on JBR site now bit confused !!!! is the power path intake for pre-2009 models as there is disi turbo intake system as well which looks totally different, can any one explain the different applications? I think got some kind of infection-mps infection cant stop looking at goodies for car-lol. Think it could be an expensive trip up to total MPS Newcastle for a load of goodies next week.

Yeah we all had the disease .. It's called mpsmodmania.
What are you trying to achieve from your car ? What bhp ? What torque ? Is it a daily driver ? Do you want straight line power ? Is handling important ? What tyres you got ? What suspension ? Are you mapping ? What budget ?
Lots of questions .. Once you work out what direction and goal you want post up and you will get loads of help as this is a real friendly forum.
What people will tell you though get it wrong and the mps is expensive. Plan your mods.

Welcome to the forums fella, yet another to the yorkshire/derbyshire/manc ranks  With the mods you listed you should roughly achieve anywhere from 280-295 bhp at the fly and around 315 to 330 lbs ft, that will keep it reliable for a daily driver too. With it being a mkii may i suggest getting a REM and the engine rocks like a fothermucker on its standard one and ditching those hopeless standard dunlops will make the world of difference

Well thanks all enjoying all advise and support, definitely got mpsmodmania just booked into total mps at Newcastle for the day with Gunther, having Cobb v3, fuel pump internals, sure aeros intake, charge tubes & rtn, egr delete, 2nd de-cat replaced, plugs and tuned, cant wait!!. Previously been a big engine fan, had couple of M3's and 3.0l 1 series but think I have been turned by the mps syndrome. Will keep you's upto date with fact's and figures once Gunther has waved his magic wand, then save again for some more tweeks poss suspension and tyres prob need tyres first lol.
