hi all , just my first 3 mps 2nd gen yesterday after 12 months of looking and finally got one, just under 3 yrs old 18k ,velocity red from a dealer, was already a mazda 6 sport 2.3 owner
fantastic car, onlt concern is when stared after being left vvt i asume rattles for 1to 2 secs only, is that normal?
other than that , cracking car well spec'd

an initial rattle is fine (no oil on the chain). As long as the rattle disappears pretty quickly you'll be fine.

Top car top forum.
Sounds ok but if you are worried get it checked ,shouldn't have any problems with a mk2 that age though.
