I would expect Trading Standards for TP`s area to have a file a foot thick on them.

Sorry to hear about your problems, really sucks. I'd agree with what others have said, try trading standards.
There was a Mk2 MPS on ebay breaking, not sure what condition the engine is in but it looked OK. If you're oop North and find a new engine take it to Total MPS.

Thanks for all your kind words and support, i'll be taking it up with trading standards, does anybody know what kind of costs are involved (to me) in the outset or do trading standards take the case up for you. I'm guessing it would be better for my case , if i can give examples of other people who have suffered similar problems with them, if anyone out there would like to contact me i would be grateful , being new to this site i'm not sure if i can leave my e mail so can someone let me know if its ok,. Again if anyone is interested in my car or the 2 grands worth of extras plus newly powder coated wheels (anthresite) and all new tyres let me know. cheers.
