I agree - even though they are meant to have engineered in a 'sporty' exhaust note it's not something that you listen to and it makes you grin (without mods as described). I've never heard what the 323 V6 sounded like but V's tend to sound better. My old Toledo V5 had quite a pleasant off-beat burble, even as standard.
I've read your post and thought to myself "great minds think alike" as I too have switched from a V5 Toledo to a 6 MPS.
I totally agree, the V5 had a nice note but the standard MPS sounds good too, it just doesn't shout.
